Clean pool tiles effortlessly with one-tenth the CFM of traditional blast pots.

Imagine cleaning pool tiles, maintaining the shine, and while suppressing the dust. The Pool Master outdoor blast system by Raptor Blaster does exactly that. No more going back over the tiles with a sealer. Say goodbye to towing a large air compressor behind your work vehicle. From now on, the Pool Master will allow you to complete tile cleaning jobs and clean calcium deposits quickly and efficiently.

Benefits for Pool Tile Cleaning

When you are cleaning pool tiles, a delicate finish is necessary. Traditional direct pressure blast pots use dry blasting, which leaves a duller, more porous finish on pool tiles. Wet blasting sends the same abrasive media at the surface to be cleaned, creating a slight polishing effect. Additionally, wet blasting cleans the surface faster and more efficiently.

What Makes the Pool Master Unique?

Here’s how the Pool Master is a better solution for outdoor pool cleaning. It brings the wet blast system to the pool. Instead of having to dry blast with a pressure pot, and go back over the tiles with a sealant, you can bring all the convenience of a wet blast cabinet directly to the pool or other abrasive blasting job site.

The biggest benefit when it comes to the media that you’re using, you already have to get the media out of the pool., In a dry blast system, or a wet blast pot, you must put it (abrasive media) back into that pot. But in a dry blast system especially, that is around the cost-effectiveness of this unit, you cannot re-use that media.

Now when you suck the media out of a pool when you are using the Pool Master, and the Pool Master tank is drained of water, that abrasive media will go through the nozzle eight to fifteen times before it is expended and no longer usable. You pour the media back in the tank, you can take it to the next pool cleaning job, fill the tank back up with water, plug the pump in, you put it in the solution, and you are using the abrasive media. This means the Pool Master is a great machine for the pool cleaning market.

Can You Use Different Blast Media with the Pool Master?

The Pool Master works best with glass bead media blasting pool tiles. Angular media doesn’t work quite as efficiently. You can do the same abrasive blasting of pools with the Pool Master, using glass bead media, and far less compressed air than a traditional pressure pot blaster.

How Does the Pool Master Use Less Compressed Air?

One of the biggest benefits is the Pool Master requires one-tenth of the CFM to maintain the system and make it work compared to a traditional outdoor blast pot.
Typically, with an outdoor blast pot, either dry or wet, you must have at least 100 CFM to make that unit work at a high level.

That means bringing a towable compressor, usually a diesel compressor 185 CFM, which you must tow behind you r vehicle in addition to everything else you must bring out there – the blast pot, the abrasive media, everything.

With our system, the pump is doing most of the action, putting the media to the nozzle, with the nozzle is accelerating the media, so the Pool Master system only requires 17 CFM.

This means you can get away with a 10HP, gas powered air compressor, that is going to cost you $1300 to $1400 as opposed to a $20,000 air compressor.

Unparalleled for Efficiency

With this system, you can use a gas powered 10HP compressor, with a 60-gallon tank, and the system will remain at 120 PSI or above if you choose to have it that high. The Pool Master will hold adequate pressure, and continue to work, with the compressor supplying the Pool Master blasting unit with air as long as you need it for most pool cleaning or equivalent jobs.

The Pool Master outdoor wet blast system with it's creator, Rick Hayes

This revolutionary outdoor blast system uses the same technology as our innovative wet blast cabinets.

  • The pump driven system only requires 17 CFM of air.
  • Because it requires minimal air, it reduces equipment cost while producing excellent blast capabilities.
  • Media and water is pumped to the gun while the air accelerates the media through the nozzle.
  • Will not remove the glaze from the tile and allows for reuse of reclaimed media pool after pool.
  • Removing calcium buildup has never been easier.

A Versatile, Portable Outdoor Blasting Machine

Is the Pool Master only a pool tile cleaning machine? No. It is a machine that will do any type of outdoor portable blasting.
A number #4 blast nozzle with a half bag of abrasive media in it will maintain 110 to 120 PSI for about 45 minutes. If you do the math on this: 45 minutes of blasting 25 to 35 pounds of blast media is more cost-efficient than using a pressure blast pot. You’ll save money on abrasive media and compressed air, and you also won’t have to tow a large air compressor to the job. In every way possible, the Pool Master is an efficient machine for many outdoor blasting jobs.
